Welcome!

A great big “Welcome” to you. I am so happy to connect with you through these pages.

My name is Vimala Murali, and I am the mother of 2 awesome sons. (OK, I know I am biased, but they really are awesome).

I was born in India, schooled in Dubai and living in Singapore for the last 2+ decades.

Professionally, I am a Certified Coach specializing in Stress Management, Work-Life Balance & Mind Transformation.

I am also a Natural Health & Wellness Consultant helping clients restore their health with Homeopathic & Flower Remedies. For the last few years, I have also been teaching people to use these natural remedies at home to safely and effectively manage their physical, mental and emotional wellness.

Prior to this, I was in the corporate world for 14 years as a Certified Public Accountant. Although I had much worldly success, I was highly stressed out, quite often irritable and did not have much time for my family, my children, friends, even for myself.

Each day was kind of a blur just running about doing one thing after another, trying to be super-manager, super-wife, super-mom, super-everything. Given my perfectionistic tendencies (more on that later), I not only expected myself to be perfect but I expected others around me to be perfect too. Boy, did that cause a lot of problems……..

Through all this, my heart was nudging me to stop and smell the roses (what roses, I said to myself, I can’t even remember what roses looked like, I thought……).

Off and on, I would wistfully dream of a day when I would have more time, more lesiure, more fun and more joy (especially being with my sons and “enjoying” being with them).

Anyway, after an extremely traumatic personal event, I left the corporate world, and made a decision to live my life in congruence and authenticity.

My children were still young then and I became a stay-at-home mom. I did that for a couple of years but got somewhat restless. My sons were spending more time in school and after school activities and I had time on my hands that I could do something useful with.

I renewed a childhood passion in Natural Health and went on to study Homeopathy & Flower Remedies. I feel so privileged to be able to help people restore their health but more importantly restore their sense of hope, positivity and wellness.

It is my opinion that most of us suffer unnecessarily.

There is a whole world of natural remedies that can help us to feel calm, centred, positive and happy. I want to introduce you to these remedies and will write about how you can use these for yourself and your children.

In many ways, my sons have been my “teachers” on what works and what does not work with raising children. Through trial and error, and always being open to learn, I have gained much knowledge (and dare I say, wisdom) on parenting healthy children.

I will share my life experiences from helping my clients and from raising 2 awesome sons through this site.

Once again, I am very happy to connect with you.  Do come back and visit often.

Allow me to leave you with a poem from William Henry Davies:

What is this life if, full of care,
We have no time to stand and stare.

No time to stand beneath the boughs
And stare as long as sheep or cows.

No time to see, when woods we pass,
Where squirrels hide their nuts in grass.

No time to see, in broad daylight,
Streams full of stars, like skies at night.

No time to turn at Beauty’s glance,
And watch her feet, how they can dance.

No time to wait till her mouth can
Enrich that smile her eyes began.

A poor life this if, full of care,
We have no time to stand and stare.

Take a moment today to “stand and stare”…..

Vimala
